E-Notary signings

strong textAnyone doing E-Notary signings? I know not all states permit the process, I believe only 20+. I’m in NC, but not a lot of action. Best means to market

I’m not a fan. They take longer than traditionaL paper signings.

I do quite a few. Depends on the title company and the electronic signing firm. If all parties have their acts together (Quicken and Amrock using Clear Sign), your print portion is up promptly, the e-docs load smoothly, and the signing process is easy to navigate. If the title company doesn’t fully understand the process or is not prepared to implement it, if the ESF has a clumsy, badly coded program, if your equipment isn’t up to the job, if you haven’t a clue how to prepare ahead of time to deal with any problems at the table… the process can be a headache.

Marketing your ability is not difficult. Make certain your listed profiles include your credentials and experience with electronic signings.

I won’t do them. Take too long and too cumbersome to perform. Unless they paid more.
