Anyone else getting offers from Equity for hybrid closings? They offer an AMAZING signing fee of $50.00. Evidently some desperate notaries must be accepting this fee. Traveling 30 to 40 miles round trip in addition to the time needed to perform a $50.00 signing is absurd. Just windshield time alone would be around 1 1/2 hours. By the time uncle sam takes his cut, you factor in your wear and tear on the car and your time, you’re better off working at Burger king or McDonalds. Ridiculous !!
