Hi, I am a new notary and wanted to know about carrying notary E&O insurance. Since E&O is generally claims based, do you all plan to carry/renew the coverage indefinitely even after you close your business or retire? With Notary work, you can be sued several years after performing the notarial act. So it makes sense that you should keep the coverage active forever?
