Needing a title company to perform a notary assignment

Hi,

I was asked if I had a particular title company I like to use for cashout notary assignments.How do you perform these type of notaries, and why do you need to do them at a title company?

Some states have special requirements. What state are you in?

One great thing is I work at a law-firm so i do several there and yes I do charge a room fee. I have a few local title companies that i have a relationship with that allow me to do closings there. Texas is one state that require cash out to be at a title or law office.
