Just wondering if I should expect to receive a 1099 from EVERY signing company and title company I did work for, I did a lot of “onesies” and a few companies I did might have done 3 or 4. Some had asked for a W9 upfront, some not. Also I’m on Snapdocs so will they send me one as well? I want to file my taxes ASAP but don’t want to file before I have all my W-9’s. Thanks!
Need to have paid you $600 before 1099 becomes mandatory. But, use your records to file.

Yes only companies that have paid you more than $600 will issue a 1099

Your income has to be at least $600 dollars for the companies to send you a 1099.

That is what the IRS website explains but I have received 1099’s for $100. I think it should be a violation of said statute.
I report everthing even the ones I didn’t get 1099s from.
