In accordance with the major overhaul of VT notary laws passed in 2018, the Office of Professional Regulation within the Secretary of State’s office is now responsible for issuing notary commissions, for the term beginning February 1, 2019. Today the new online application system became available. The system has already been in use for a few years by some other professionals, such as accountants and land surveyors.
