AAA cost to operate your car

I was reading an article about old verses new cars. The part that caught my attention was:

AAA said the average yearly cost of owning and operating a new vehicle in 2023 is $12,182.

Another article said the average price of a new car could soon be $50,000 with monthly payments of $724 or higher.

Replacing 4 tires can be a $1,000 expense.

Sure, most of us notaries don’t use our cars exclusively for business, but even 1/2 or 1/4 of these costs are substantial.

I only buy used small cars and always pay cash. Always keep your fixed cost very low.
