Hello my fellow Notaries, my name is Freddie. Just getting started and would love to get consistent work. Bills and overhead are adding up. I have only received 2 opportunities from Loan-closers paying out every 30 days. It’s 2024 and I know information changes over time with companies and their pay outs. I am ready to get the ball rolling and just need some good starting platforms, advise and guidance please and thank you.

@fredricka I’ve linked you to a few separate threads, PLUS I’ve added two threads below for your reference.

Please read MORE than the initial post on the thread as there is much wisdom & valuable insights throughout the entire thread for each of these . . .

> To preface this, I’ve been a lurker on these forums for quite some time and I’ve noticed a ton of expectations lately that seem too unrealistic. I’m a NSA out of Michigan and have been one for the past 7 years. I usually pull in at least 8k worth of business every month but it takes a LONG time to get to that point. I see a ton of newer notaries looking to make fast money or expecting SS or TC to come to them over seasoned notaries while they have very little experience. A few tips that I’d sug…

They really want me to do a refinance for 100 bucks that has 200 pages and want me to travel there. ALL the signing services are paying less. A refinance no matter how big should be no lower than 100 but these services constantly yelling me te the average is $80. Gas prices in my area are $3+. What idiots are out here doi…

As you (_more than likely_) already know . . . as a Business Owner **EVERYTHING** depends on YOU!

If you are truly desirous of success, enact the following on a regular basis:

- Daily SEARCH the **Notary Cafe** database, which is a GOLDMINE. Always pose your queries there first as the wisdom is ubiquitous & immediately available!

- **Be curious!** Investigate things on your own. **Emulate an entrepreneur** (_a self-starter_).

- There is NO **Manual of Desk Instructions** [MDI] for this business sector. Couple that with many things vary from region-to-region across the US. You can (_and SHOULD_) take as much training as possible/that you can afford until you’re confident in the execution of your professional services. My **strong** recommendation is Notary2Pro. For more details, see below.

- Remember to always question the ulterior motives of information provided by fellow Business Owners (other **Notary Cafe** members).

======

This is what is meant when we reference that “_ **it’s a very small world** _” in this business sector.

Someone new can make an inadvertent (_or simple_) error on their _initial few signings_ and VOILA! There name is out for publication between & among lenders, title/escrow companies [T/ECs], etc. and are **avoided for possible Signing Orders**.

Another reason why we advocate for ensuring you receive some _ **professional, reliable, & trustworthy training** _ (_not YouTube_) prior to accepting your initial Signing Order. Just looking out for your successful **Business Launch**!

======

_ **My personal experience:** _
When I initially started performing this work, I _ **successfully completed MULTIPLE training/certification programs** _ including Notary2Pro & NNA and many others. I have extensive experience in skill sets that require certification and recurrent evaluation tests; i.e., I’ve maintained my Project Management Professional [PMP] certification for more than 20 years. So, I understand what it usually entails and the elements that should be included within a comprehensive training program.

Regarding the NNA training specifically, it’s lacking across multiple topics & categories. Many NNA “graduates” choose to take additional training courses elsewhere, because they sense they’re insufficiently prepared. Their primer has errors throughout. Their hotline is less than reliable for accurate responses.

In my experience with undergoing the multiple training programs for certified notary signing agent [CNSA] certification, hands-down without question, **Carol Ray’s Notary2Pro** training programs are optimum in this industry. I’ve successfully completed ALL of the multiple training/certification programs that **Carol** offers through her company Notary2Pro. Her programs are thorough & detailed. These also **prepare the business owner to operate a business**. In addition, she offers Mentoring services. I found those to be excellent & INVALUABLE when I was initially starting out in this business sector. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. ✅

I’ve professionally compared the training/certification programs available at Notary2Pro with the others I’ve successfully completed. The **ONLY training/certification program I recommend** is Notary2Pro.

A list of companies that hire Notary2Pro graduates (with minimal or no experience) is provided to successful course graduates. =\> This list is _ **pure GOLD!** _ Study up, refresh your notes, & let **Carol** know when your initial few signings are scheduled. She is a wonderful mentor & can be on standby in case you encounter difficulties or have questions during your first few signings. She’s the Best! Her support will help you Build your Confidence in providing this service. 🏆✅

In addition, Notary2Pro works diligently to keep this list up-to-date regarding vetting and viability. As we all know, some reliable clients can encounter financial difficulties and that, in turn, can negatively impact CNSAs directly.

Of course, your best bet would be to visit their website at [https://www.notary2pro.com/](https://www.notary2pro.com/), research, and make the choices appropriate for your situation. The training programs by **Carol Ray** are comprehensive & thorough. ✨🎉🕶

_P.S. I receive no compensation or remuneration of any type or kind as a result of my first-hand experiential review above._

P.P.S. Unfortunately, **Carol recently passed from our earthly plane.** I hope she Rests In Peace. _I’m grateful to have made her acquaintance and studied under her tutelage._

None. They are all offering fees that will put you in the red…and they do get takers ‘trying to prove themselves’ so they’ll be offered the big bucks. Hate to tell you, experienced or newb—we all get the same offers.

I use [NotaryDash.com](http://NotaryDash.com), [Signingorder.com](http://Signingorder.com), [Snapdocs.com](http://Snapdocs.com), and [expnotary.com](http://expnotary.com). I am looking for more, it’s a good start but I don’t get enough signings to get full time work. Once you get rolling and get a couple signings done you will get more texts from more signing companies through the platforms. The big loans can be stressful because they are a lot more work. Just hang in there and don’t let negative comments get you down!
