Aspen Field Services on no payment

I completed a notary signing for Aspen Field Services on February 27, 2025, and as of today, june 16, 2025, I have still not been paid. This delay is completely unacceptable. I’ve reached out nearly every day for the past month—by phone and email—and have received no meaningful response. The last time I spoke with someone, I was told payment would be sent, but it never arrived.

As a professional notary, I expect timely and honest communication. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing, and I caution others considering working with this company.

Surprising to hear, I’m always paid in 30 days by Aspen. If you have any texts saved those are usually good numbers to call.

Although, it has been awhile. I have done work for Aspen for years. Everyone was always very professional and they always paid on time.

Aspen uses Bill.com to pay and pay NET 30. Double check any emails they might have sent.

I worked with them some this year and did receive payment but the last order I completed for them, instead of paying a flat rate they changed to an hourly rate of $55/hr. I worked in the field for a hour and the next day spent another hour at their request, sending the pictures again because of an issue on their end. They paid me $70 and I have called and texted my contact multiple times with no resolution. They have asked me to complete several jobs since, and I have said that I can’t until I get paid. Then they ghost.

I’ve previously worked with Aspen, and had no issues getting paid; however, I completed an inspection in May and I have not received payment. I’ve emailed them, called, sent invoices through Bill.com (they no longer use), and still no payment. I’ve been told that they switched payment systems, payment is on the way, but as of this date still no payment. I retained my email communications with them and reached out to my ASPEN POC, and while he apologized for the issue, no payment. I will not accept any new appointments pending payment for May.

I haven’t done one for them in a while. I always got a mailed paper check. But the last one was April I think. Overall I like them pretty well. But the assignments can be very different.
