The signer of the refinance cannot find a witness for their Quitclaim Deed. I know I can be one of the witnesses. Does the title company compensate if you bring your own witness? If they do compensate, how much?
Yes you are compensated for bringing your own witness. How much? How good are you at negotiating?
If it were me, I’d ask how much they pay ‘the witness you’ll need to provide’…and take it from there. Remember the ol’ salesman’s motto: he who names a price first, loses.
