I like buyer seller documents, packages are usually small, title companies want same day ship and don’t need scans, buyers and sellers sometimes have a lot of experience so they know what they’re doing, and an appointment can be less than 30 minutes. Title companies are always really supportive. Hope everyone is having a good holiday week. ---

You in a much different world than I. I closed a buyer and seller side package today. 154 pages, copies to buyer, full scanbacks, then wait for the all clear from the title comapny before dropping package. In my neck of the woods, Philadelphia, all the buyers and sellers packages are handled that way. ---

The first seller docs I did was 12 pages. The 2nd one I did was 37 pages. They really are my favorite deals. The seller and buyer are rarely together. Both of these were out of state properties. ---

I agree, buyer or seller packages sizes and requirements can vary depending on the companies. Most times, those assignments can be a breeze to complete compared to refinance assignments. ---

That’s been my experience here in the greater Boston area. My state is an attorney state so I can only do one side of any buyer/seller transaction, but never both. Seller packages tend to be between 20 and 40 pages on average and fairly easy to work through most of the time. Buyer packages, however, tend to range between 130 and 200 pages, and they take much longer to work through at the signing table. Oddly enough, the fees ranges for both types of packages tend to lie within the same range so, given the choice, I’ll take a seller package over a buyer package any day, especially when considering the time involved in scan backs & shipping of the docs. ---
