Today alone…2 request…one from Mavsign which I thought to be a legit company. Sent me a request. “Click on the link to be considered for a signing in your area.” Yeah, I told them to click on their mailing list and remove me from it.
The next request was from a company out of Oregon. “Pacsigning” They did call first. Very heavy accent. Finally sent me an email with some information and a link to click on “their” platform. To register on their platform & receive the documentation & note the contact attempts you must enter your email THEN click on a link (approximately 150 letter link) to reset your password. Yeah, I told them no thank you. They are being very insistent and keep sending me a request to click on the link. I’m getting ready to give them a call and get ugly about it. What is going on with the lack of integrity? I’m feeling extremely defensive in today’s world and I do not like the feeling. You can’t let your guard down for one second.

Too true. It is a numbers game for scammers and it’s a fight to stay one step ahead.

@cryman.notary Appreciate you **Sharing & Caring** your _ **direct experience** _/findings regarding these 2 scams.

As this is a Public Forum (_not only members can view/access threads_), maybe the actual business entities will take note & pursue the scammers . . .

I’ve worked with Mavsign for a few years and have never had an issue. As for the Pac Signing call, you were wise not to take it further. I live in Oregon, and they’re a legit service. However, it’s a mobile notary service, not a signing agency.

Thank you for that information! Very broken English as well. They are back knocking on the door again.

Any platform that notifies via text includes a link. Not sure why that’s cause for alarm.

It’s a new age. I’m not talking about any “platform.” If you’re comfortable with a link, by all means, click on it.

Oh you’re getting random links from unknown sources? Well that’s different then what I was thinking.
