I was trying to find a post related to this, I thought I saw something in the forum about this… Below is an email I received on the 20th

\*From: Sanya David [sanyadavid91@hotmail.com](mailto:sanyadavid91@hotmail.com)
Subject: Mobile Notary Needed 11/23

"Good Morning, I have a customer who is purchasing a home here in New Jersey. He and his wife will meet with you at a nearby restaurant to sign the loan documents on Monday (waiting for the lender to finish up some things) is that something you can handle and if so, what is the procedure and the cost?\*
_Thank you,_

_Sanya David._
_Casey Realtor._
_Sent from my iPhone"_

I replied that I was not available. Then a few days later I received the same email again, at that point I started to suspect something.

**First, the subject did not provide Borrower’s name, address, time, etc.**
**Second, the sender’s email was a personal (another red flag) hotmail account**

I reported the email as scam, and moved on with my life.

The next day I received another email, this time more elaborate and with attachments.

\*From: Sanya David [sanyadavid91@hotmail.com](mailto:sanyadavid91@hotmail.com)
Subject: Mobile Notary Needed 11/23

Good Morning,\*

_In the secure link below you will find all of the documents that the borrowers need to sign for the closing today. The closing location is in the documents with the buyer’s contact details. Below you will find a list of all the documents that should be in the secured link above. Kindly download the file for the borrower’s location and time._
_Fee: $400_

\*\*There were two attachments/links in the email, they were titled like it was a borrower’s package and XOME was used in the name.

This email still came through after I reported it spam\*\*

The following day I received another email, now the subject line looked like this

“Re: 20El939480 - 20NS45667 | MATTHEW J TURCO | 11/24/2020 12:30 PM”

_Good Morning, Are you available for a closing around your covered area at 12:30PM tomorrow? Please get back to us ASAP._
_Fee is $350_
_Thank you,_
_Thanks,_

**EVERY TIME THE EMAIL STRUCTURE WAS IMPROVING, MEANING WAS LOOKING MORE REAL, HOWEVER, BE VERY CAREFUL!!! MY SUBJECT LINE READ LIKE IT WAS AN OPPERTUNITY FROM ONE COMPANY, YET THE LINKS LOOKED LIKE ANOTHER COMPANY GENERATED THEM. ALL THAT AFTER MARKING THIS SENDER AS SPAM!!!**

Subject: Mobile Notary Needed

Hello, I found your contact on Notary Cafe, We need a mobile notary to

sign a buyer purchasing property here in Florida that would like to

sign in your zip code area, where they are currently staying with

friends. I would be emailing the package (approx. 100 pages) for you

to print to have signed. I would provide the Fed Exp label and it

would need to be send out the same day so I can fund it on Monday. No

fax or email backs… just sign and drop for us. Are you available on

Friday and what do you charge?

I got that one, too. I called the Florida title company printed at the end of the email and they confirmed it as a scam and they have no one by that name connected to them

You just download that attached. Then they use your list of contacts to send more chain letters, this is fun. Not.

I got the same email, I told them I don’t work with out of town escrow CO’s. And since Covid I only work with a handful of local escrow companies.
