I was asked to give my banking information (login) to a company called Plaid? I haven’t done it, but if I get the signing I have no idea how else I would be paid. Does anyone know anything about this company, Plaid?

There is a great amount of inherent risk in providing “banking information (login)” to anyone . . . 
On the other hand, if the request was for an Automated Clearing House [ACH] form to be completed and included your Account Name, Bank Routing Number, and Account Number, that would be within the normal parameters for an electronic/ACH payment request.
Online banking login? That would concern me. Routing info, account # for a deposit…like eCheck… doesn’t ask for your login to your personal online bank account. But you do have to sign up for eChecks & create an account with an ID & PW. Maybe that’s what Plaid is talking about?
Have to laugh - this sounds like a “Platform” for all the OTHER “Platforms”
