Getting Payment

I’m having trouble getting paid for an assignment I completed with Cloud Signings. I completed the Assignment on 3/14/2025. I’ve reached out to the company through phone and email and can’t get anyone. Does anyone have any good contact information for them? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
-Be blessed all

@adelonj Excellent question! :partying_face:

Just wondering if by any chance were you able to locate the immediately available information found within the Notary Cafe database on this topic?

This information is a GOLDMINE!

Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database that has been generously contributed by your sagacious fellow business owners over the years . . .

To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

I’ve performed a cursory Search on your behalf and the results show 31 separate threads (including yours) about this particular business entity. There is a plethora of data immediately available on the threads within Notary Cafe. :sparkles::tulip:

SPECIAL NOTE: Accessing the database to locate information about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . . :crown:

@adelonj & any others who have long-term outstanding invoices with this business entity, you may find this data to be helpful for collection:

I have the same issue currently! Send them numerous emails about late payment and breech of contact with payment terms of 60 days past due. I keep getting an email back that says “we will review this weekend” - still no payment. I won’t work for them again.

@adelonj :tada: Thank you :tada: for sharing your direct experience with this business entity.

NOTE: It would be helpful if you could Edit the thread title to include the name of the business entity; i.e., “Getting Payment - Cloud Signings

Appreciate it

@miyakmeek It only takes one experience for me I called them “clown signing.” :laughing:Waiting 60 days for payment is absurd and disrespectful, considering the hard work we put in and the challenging environments we often encounter. Some homes can be incredibly dirty, unwelcoming, and filled with smoke and unpleasant odors. On top of enduring these conditions, having to wait over 60 days for payment is just unacceptable.

I gave up on trying to collect 2 files from them from May. I have spent so much time and effort trying to reach the right parties and nothing. I guess I’ll write it off as “bad credit” come tax time.

@miyakmeek I am currently facing issues with non-payment from THE BEST NOTARY. I’ve informed them to remove me from their listing, as I refuse to work for free.

It would be GREAT if you could take a moment to Create a new thread in order to provide a ‘showcase’ of their non-payment status. Thank You

Are you sending the emails to the title company? I understand that the signing agency is the one you’ve contracted to, not the title company. I do plan on contacting the title company, but I don’t see how they will be held responsible.

Title is, indeed, not responsible. However, they don’t like it when the signing service they contract with for notary services fail to pay the notaries in a timely manner, or sometimes, not at all. By contacting title, you’re exerting pressure on them to ensure that the signing services they use do their job. Simple as that.

@carolp3000 It appears you intended to address your query to either:

@adelonj

OR

Hey so you have to email them for your payment. They owed me 8 payments and they have paid them. I hate we’re have to go thru all the hassel to get our money when they know they owe us

They may not be technically responsible, but they can put pressure on the signing service to pay by threatening to not use them anymore. I’m sure that title companies don’t want to be bothered with this sort of thing and will stop using signing services that cause them extra work.
