General Notary Work

Hope this helps

As LindaH wrote, it’s general notary work. Most notarizations, at least for mobile notaries, are requested as a package by a real estate title company. In one session, you might get each member of a couple swearing to, or acknowledging around 8 documents, so that’s a total of around 16 notarial acts.

Some requests for notarizations come from members of the public. It’s usually not real-estate related. It might be an affidavit required to get a retirement benefit, a power of attorney, a will, etc. These requests are what notaries who participate in internet forums tend to call general notary work.
