Has anyone worked with Notary Network?

Hello Forum - I did 2 signings on 12/23 and 12/20/24 for NOTARY NETWORK. Their area code for each of the signings is 949. I need to send them an invoice as they requested not to be sent one until after 30 days. I called their phone number several times but it does not get picked up. I then looked them up online (as I have no email) and I found several Notary Network signing services, so it is hard to figure out which one it is. I then texted them and they have not replied. Can someone please help me identify this signing service and how to contact them. this is so unprofessional and I am very disappointed as these two closings were 40 miles away with large loan packages. Many thanks for any suggestions. All the best, Nadine

@tawc The Signing Orders [SOs] you received from them will assist you in localizing the address, website, phone, etc.

If there is a dearth of data on their SOs, then reach out to the Title/Escrow Company(ies) [T/ECs] that you worked with on those SOs to gather additional information about that particular business entity.

Tangentially, here are a few Notary Cafe threads that you’ll find particularly insightful & helpful in regard to this topic:

@tawc – What information do you actually have for them? Names, complete phone number, address, website, etc? Did they email you your confirmation for the assignment? Did they use a platform to hire you? If so, which one? What is their complete name (so we don’t confuse them with another company with a similar name)?

I don’t believe I’ve worked with them. However, to be able to research them, it helps if we have any and all info you may have for them.

Did your signing have a CD? CDs contain a wealth of information.

What is the phone number you are calling?

thank you for the helpful information. I do not have enough info on them to know which one it is as they are not answering the phone. I will keep at it … thanks again.

Hello - the phone number I have is 949-357-4125. The order on Signingorder does not contain more info, not even a name. But I will keep calling. thank you for your response.

Jeezaloo what a rabbit hole I went down trying to find that guy!

The bad news is the phone number tracks to a listing for Courier and Notary Services who created a free business listing on the website NotaryStars.com:

Courier and Notary Services
2801 Main St Suite 337 Irvine, CA 92614
(949) 357-4125
manny@ncservicing.com

And when I look up the website www.ncserving.com, it is NOT an active domain at all.
And that address in Irvine is Camden & Main apartment building (I checked on Google Maps ground view (link below) and I am guessing Suite #337 is or was the guy’s apartment number. Or maybe, maybe he has a business suite on the ground floor #337? There are some retail shops on the first floor.

I would report this guy and his company immediately to SigningOrder.com because it appears you may have been duped if he/she has ghosted you after you did their notary work. And notify the title company too like someone else suggested.

If it is a scammer like I suspect it is – they are @#$! ing clever – they will just do the same on a different signing platform and do not care about a bad reputation. They’ll just go to the next notary to rip off. If it is a legitimate company and they just inadvertently neglected to pay you, they should be absolutely falling over themselves to make it right. Either way, ghosting you is NOT COOL. Report it.

Hey just found a LAST name: Manny Eldo

I see someone posted a complaint about him on NotaryRotary!

And according to the poster, Manny issued a V check that day and she immediately got paid! Maybe follow suit by posting a complaint in NotaryRotary. Holy smokes that guy seems to have quite the reputation not following through with payment. He appears to have a brother named Mike Eldo who works in a California escrow office. That is helpful info. You shouldn’t have to hunt down anyone’s brother in order to get payment, but maybe worth a shot. I did a Google search for “Mike Eldo escrow agent in California” and a bunch of Google reviews popped up with contact business phone numbers.

And here is Manny Eldo’s LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/manny-eldo-769ba5177
His profile says he is a mortgage loan officer, if this is the guy you are looking for.

Let us know how it turns out, please!

Carmen, you are a super sleuth. I think the plot is thickening. After I called several times on a Friday, I received a text asking me what the problem was. I texted back that I need payment for both jobs and no one is answering the phone. He/she told me to send an email to team@nsignings.com which I did. She responded with “I will take care of them right away”. This was 1/31/25. We are today 2/5/25 … hopefully not another 30 days will go by. I will keep you updated here. thanks again for your incredible sleuthing work. So much appreciated. fingers crossed.

OK! A step in the right direction since they acknowledge it. But has anyone from team@nsignings.com replied? Did you send email with a “read” receipt by any chance? It is crazy that they use team@nsignings.com as the email address when the domain nsignings.com shows it is just PARKED on GoDaddy. (Which means they own the domain, but it’s just not in use, and might be open to selling it, which is kinda dumb but here we are).

Looking forward to your next update!

Not a word so far. I sent a text asking to confirm that they received my invoices, nothing.
I have another issue (I currently have 6 unpaid invoices) - I did a signing for a title company in Arlington, TX (I am in CA). $60. That was 11/25/2024. I have emailed the sr title officer 3x and left a VM, nothing. this is so disheartening as I am 4 months in with 6 unpaid invoices. All signings were done with no issues. what is my next step with the sr title officer???

@tawc Hmmm . . . already provided a series of Step-By-Step guides via separate threads above . . .

Please revisit those Action Items until exhausted, at which point you should have achieved payment success.

@tawc – Who is that title company in Arlington, TX?

No, no, no. @tacw Nadine, I must strongly disagree with Susana. If we do not get paid by the hiring company – DO NOT CONTACT THE SIGNERS. Getting paid is between us and our hiring company and if we need to involve the title company in order to get paid, then so be it. But under no circumstances are the signers accountable for whether we get paid. Contacting signers regarding payment and/or collecting payment from the signers is a huge NO.

Nadine, contact the title company directly, as @cNsa5 says. Be prepared with the order number or loan number, date/time, and last name of borrowers. If you can provide title with a copy of the invoice that you sent to your hiring company, that is best.

You don’t think people who schedule notaries from various services have their own forum? Don’t contact a signer. You can get blackballed - no matter the circumstances. Signing services probably have their own forum where notaries have their reputation among them. JS.

NEVER contact signers after signing is done. Your business is with hiring entity.

Hello Yolicue, thanks for asking. I was contacted via text on 11/25/24 (day before thanksgiving) for a same day signing about 45 min away. The sender is a Sr. Escrow officer @ People’s Title Company (peoplestitlecompany.com), her initials are LF, and asked what I would charge. I responded with $60 for a signatures and sending it back via FedEx. I did the signing (a trust deed) and sent it off. I informed it that all was done and sent. She asked me to send the invoice which she would forward to Accounting. That was now 76 days ago. I have sent 2 emails, left a VM and she has basically ghosted me as no response, at all!.. What do I do now?

I completely agree that contacting the signer is not the answer. I was contracted by a Sr escrow officer so she is the one who needs to reply and PAY.

Hello Carmen_Lane, thank you for your response. Per my response to Yolicue, it was not a signing service that contacted me but a Sr. Escrow Officer. It was via text and she seemed legit. I have contacted her now via email and vm and still nothing. Very disasppointing to do a great job, be professional and then not get paid … $60. Shameful, especially for a sr. escrow officer. She is responsible and should at least, at a minimum, tell me she contacted her accounting department, especially after having waited for 76 days now. Very sad. I started 4 months ago after taking tons of training so … again, veyr disappointing.

Frustrating! Contact another escrow officer at that title co. LF cannot be the only one there who can help you get paid for the work you have done for them.

Maybe try victoria@peoplestitle.com

@tawc – Peoples Title in Arlington, TX is on Facebook. Try posting there. People's Title | Arlington TX You can also call that office and speak to any of the other escrow officers. Perhaps the person you originally dealt with, LF, is no longer there or on leave.
