How to get more assignments?

Anyone out there know how a newbie can generate more business? How can you get more assignments? More higher paid assignments?

Experience, marketing, and some good luck.
There is no magic formula, no “get business quick” equation - if there was we would all be using it! Things are actually a bit slow now for just about everyone I talk to, so you need to work your business every day, go out and talk to signing companies, realtors, lenders and title companies every day and ask for the business. Then you hope that you get lucky!

On the other hand, you should refuse low-ball offers from outfits that have a poor rating, just to get the experience. Chances are you won’t get paid, anyway. An expensive learning experience.
