I did my first I-9 signing this week. The signer called me directly, saying he needed me to verify his ID for his company. Then his company emailed me asking for a statement saying that I had done that.
There was no application to complete, as he had already done it electronically with the company.
I know that normally I’d be asked to complete Section 2 of the form.
Just wondering what the normal fee would be for that.

I have done a few 1-9’s lately. I did some research and as far as I am aware, there is no laws covering fees for I-9’s. My fee is a flat fee of $25 plus a travel fee according to my state laws.

Hope this helps.

Sounds reasonable. Thank you.
