Did a couple pages for Hodson PI (private investigators) for $100. 2 weeks later, email telling me to ‘sign up with Ramp, who will pay me thru Plaid’. Click Link and oh, heck NO! Plaid wants access to your whole financial life: Checking, Savings, every deposit, withdrawal, transaction you do!
Pushed back and am being paid by ACH/Dir.Dep. Just a heads up…

True dat! They want you to use you banking user name and password, that’s a Big No.
No direct deposit can link if you don’t log into your bank account. It’s not saved.
Plaid is used by many services. I’ve ever had any problem with Plaid.
