Please do not work for Rai's Mobile Notary

Adult protective services is investigating because it is likely that they will find this to be financial elder abuse. I don’t care how much margin they make. I care that it is an abusive practice to take advantage of people in a difficult situation. I hope when you are elderly people take advantage of you since you think that’s ok.

Some people need serious help with their reading comprehension. This has Nothing to do with what I got paid and everything to do with abusively over charging the public, especially the elderly.

Nobody told me not to discuss fees. Several people completely missed the point of this post. Notaries should not openly discuss fees amongst each other because that can be considered price fixing. That is completely different than me answering the signer’s uestion about what I got paid. I don’t care about what I got paid. I care about a company with predatory practices scamming the public, especially the elderly.

Where did I say it’s okay? Don’t take things so personally.

@canoli1978 look at my post just prior to the one you responded to - I was on your side. The fee he charged is out of line and I’m glad to hear someone is looking into this for the signer. It’s a shame

I am so glad I always check on Notary Cafe when thinking about collaborating with a service.

It is horrible that some companies practice price gauging, more specifically when it pertains to their elderly customers.

Karina (won’t be working with Rai’s)

Did you report them?

I’ve always wondered how a signing service does not have to abide by state notary laws yet the individual notary does.

Because a “signing service” is not necessarily a notary - and these entities are totally unregulated.
