Depends what the mistake was. Own up to the signing company to see how it can be rectified.

Well it was a pretty big mistake that should be known when they receive the ID.

Please fully explain what the mistake was if you want advice- contacting Sec of State may open a can of worms when it’s possibly an easy fix.

If Identification is involved then I take it you notarized a doc with the wrong name??
