Do you guys notice that snapdocs often lowball offers? Does anyone here work for snapdocs that can give some insight on how this works? I notice when i get loan docs, the notary fees that are being charged to the client are like 250 but they are offering like 65 to the notary. ---

I counter offer everything from snapdocs. It doesn’t matter to me what anyone is offering I tell them my fee. Sometimes they pay it. That’s all we can do. ---

I refuse SnapDoc vendors all the time. I get offers…we will pay you $25.00 to travel 200 miles for a 200 page (400 page w/ copies) document. Don’t feel like you need to accept them in order to work. We are not here to provide a free service. I send them the “bid” (that term irritates me) and they take it or not. Believe me, the ones accepting the lowball offers do not stay around for long and then the vendors come back making reasonable offers. You just have to wait it out. ---

From yesterday. Lowest I have seen yet including a witness. Most of the time I counter offers through snapdocs, but you never hear back. Counter $400. They’ll figure out Jonesborough ain’t easy. And you never know maybe they pay you $400. If you’ll go for that. I ask for outrageous fees on some of the places I get asked to go and then they will blow my mind every once in a while, and go okay.
