@steves11 So they want scanbacks AND to drive an additional 62 miles ===>>> to handoff the package? Who knows how LONG the drive will take at that time of day!
Will you be requesting an increase of the offered Fee by at least a 2X or 3X multiple . . . ?
Only problem with this is that it’s a 62 mile drive from Simi Valley to Buena Park after you’ve done scanbacks. So, by my conservative calculations, they’re paying you $80 for the signing, $0 for the scanbacks and $100 to do a round trip 124 mile drive during a time of day when traffic is likely to be very heavy. This is likely a 1 1/2 hour drive each way, using 1/2 tank of gas @ close to $5.00 per gallon plus wear and tear. Good deal or not? What do you think?

I’m not even going to respond to this offer because there’s no chance that they would pay me the amount it would take to make it feasible for me.

Of course, there are some regular clients who would easily adjust the Fee & accommodate the request.
There are other regular clients to whom no response would be provided due to their demonstrated rigid stance not negotiating whatsoever.
