(7:22am) Received a blast offer for today at 2pm for a refi at a location 52 miles from me for a refi. $30.
(7:27am) Same as above except add scans. $40.
Something like that, I don’t even bother counter-offering. Is someone REALLY accepting that!??!!??
Their offers are usually terrible. I know there are certain areas here that they struggle to get notaries so I counter with a fee acceptable to me and usually get it. I haven’t seen a refi fee that low from anybody. I get offers from Premium Closing Solutions for Refi’s, frequently for $60. The closing exchange system stinks as well. I have an Samsung phone and you cannot login to their system from an android device. This has been a problem I know for well over a year. There response is they’re aware of the issue, but it will take them time to resolve. I’m pretty sure that over a year is enough time to figure out why I can’t login from my Samsung phone. I saw someone on here say that orders from The Closing Exchange are either perfect or terrible, there is no in between. That statement has been true in my experience. I have only done about 14 orders with them in hte last year+.
TCX will accept my professional fees – once in a great while. Worked with them June 2025 for a sellers’ package with scans for $200. Then, December 2025 for Rocket refi with Spanish required for $250. Both paid exactly 30 calendar days from date of signing.
Given that history, I will sometimes counter their offers.
I don’t recall any issues with their app. But, I do have an iPhone … luckily.
