Last Saturday, following the completion of an assignment, the signer extended an invitation to view their garden and chicken coop. As I was departing, they graciously presented me with half a dozen eggs. Today, I received a text message from the assignment that I just finished. The signer stated the following, “Thanks for the pen, Carl. 
And, thanks for being an excellent closing agent.” This particular signer meticulously reviewed and cross-referenced nearly every page of the 109-page loan package with the information displayed on their computer screen. I maintained a patient demeanor and adjusted my pace to accommodate the signer’s thorough approach, recognizing their detail-oriented nature. In this business, you can meet some very nice people.

I had a big pat on the back from a signer 2 weeks ago. He said this refi was on his 15th home and I was the most professional and knowledgeable person he ever worked with in all those purchases, sales and refinances. I very much appreciated him saying that to me.
