Does it matter how the date is written in? Example April 21, 2021 or 4/21/21

Do you mean just for your certs or do you mean throughout the document?

For my certs I personally write out April 21, 2021 - that’s just the anal retentive in me from back in the day when we drafted these docs at my office and I HAD to write out the date in full;

If you mean throughout the body of the documents themselves, I’d refer you back to your hiring party or the drafter of the documents.

No I had a signing yesterday I date it 4-21-21 no one say it  
wrong. But like Linda say it up to the hiring party.
