Back in 2009 when I began my mobile notary business in San Francisco, I noted many fake vicious reviews on Yelp that weren’t even my customers! Most only had very little contact with me over the phone.

After 10 vicious attacks on Yelp, I realized they were very good at gas lighting to the public setting me up consistently from the start. None of these complaints were genuine. When I let Yelp know about the fake reviews, it removed them from public view.

After I recently received two 5 star reviews on Google, shortly thereafter, I immediately recognized a setup for me starting with a text from someone who I recognized was leading toward a fake bad review.

The text sent to me was just a lot of unnecessary info I didn’t need to know about as the guy, who also sent his picture, created a structure toward a bad review of me **out of nothing.** I then offered a referral notary because he wasn’t ready to make an appointment.

**He gave a 1 star review on Google**! I believe the fake was asked on behalf of a competitor who wanted to stop the momentum of two recent 5 star reviews.
