When you know it's not right

Emailed the day before an appointment to ask the company - is it correct the wife is not on the Deed of Trust or riders? Please confirm this is correct.

And I never got an answer. I knew it was wrong and should have been on the phone to speak to someone but when you’re busy - there’s little time to follow up with phone calls when email should be sufficient.
Especially when you email the closing officer, the lender and everyone else.

The signers were not going to sign paperwork with that kind of an error. And at 6pm in Pacific Time Eastern Time Zone offices are not going to get an answer. After hour contacts don’t answer either.

Signers want me back today the same time but I won’t go back if I don’t get another order confirmation that I’ll get paid for a 2nd trip. Because I went on a verbal last time and that did not work out.

I will start calling first thing when an Eastern Time Zone office should be opening but I will probably be adamant that the trip last night will be billed at full fee. They should have read their email the day before. Would have saved everyone time and trouble.

Probable to be the last time I am available for this service. I rarely say that, but we shouldn’t have to beg for a response to an email inquiry.

I had a job where I got 200 emails a day. It’s not hard to review and respond - it’s just not.

Now the borrower is texting me trying to get me to confirm I am coming back with the corrected paperwork. And I told him I’d have to decline when the service that hired me is failing to respond to voice mail and multiple emails.

I am no longer interested in working for a service that can’t be bothered to respond to an urgent message requesting a response.

Not taking anymore orders from them either. This was two in a row. That’s more than enough for me.

Just to play it safe, did you check your spam folder?

Not there either. I’ve never had this with Townsgate before probably because I rarely have issues with their paperwork. But I won’t do anymore.

When in doubt, I’ve found that if you go to the signature page of the CD and look right below where Dodd & Frank tried to hide the APR, you will find the names and telephone numbers of the players involved in the loan processing.

The big problem with eastern time zone companies is they’re not gonna be around at 6 PM PAcific. So instead of responding to any email they just canceled. The order didn’t notify me, but the company is still sending Signing offers. Very strange.

She was on the loan but not the deed? I assume this isn’t what the customer wanted…?

It was a docs prep error. She was supposed to be on the Deed
