Emailed the day before an appointment to ask the company - is it correct the wife is not on the Deed of Trust or riders? Please confirm this is correct.
And I never got an answer. I knew it was wrong and should have been on the phone to speak to someone but when you’re busy - there’s little time to follow up with phone calls when email should be sufficient.
Especially when you email the closing officer, the lender and everyone else.
The signers were not going to sign paperwork with that kind of an error. And at 6pm in Pacific Time Eastern Time Zone offices are not going to get an answer. After hour contacts don’t answer either.
Signers want me back today the same time but I won’t go back if I don’t get another order confirmation that I’ll get paid for a 2nd trip. Because I went on a verbal last time and that did not work out.
I will start calling first thing when an Eastern Time Zone office should be opening but I will probably be adamant that the trip last night will be billed at full fee. They should have read their email the day before. Would have saved everyone time and trouble.
Probable to be the last time I am available for this service. I rarely say that, but we shouldn’t have to beg for a response to an email inquiry.
I had a job where I got 200 emails a day. It’s not hard to review and respond - it’s just not.
