Is there something wrong with the NNA? Besides the abusive and greedy practices and the price hikes?
I went to renew my Background Check and at checkout the total price is 207.00.
Did they screw up their own system or something?
Sounds like you may have inadvertently ‘ordered’ more than the BGC. And, yes, sometimes their site is screwed up…particularly on holidays, it seems. Last time I ordered, it was the Friday after Thanksgiving and it flat refused my Credit card on Friday and Saturday. Monday it worked.

Make sure to select your state and Exam and Background only. It is only $65.00.
Their website seems that it could be setup a little bit better than it is to find things and get to where you need to get to more easily.
