Anyone hear of Structured Asset Services? I received a text from them about notarizing paperwork for an annuity. I have not heard of this company. I tried to Google them and nothing appeared. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

They sound like a J.G. Wentworth type of company. I’m not very comfortable doing these kinds of signings because I feel like these companies are taking severe advantage of the people who have a structured settlement. The pay the customer maybe .30 on the dollar of what their structured settlement is worth.
Look up Structuredassetservices.com - Annuities is one of their product lines. They appear to be somewhat like J.G. Wentworth. Probably a good company to work for.
I’ve done a few. Yes, they take advantage of the people in regards to the amount that the consumer receives. I’ve found that the people seem to be ok with it and are willing to sign. I do prefer these over the debt consolidation signings. Those I feel are more at risk (I understand our E&O doen’t cover these) and the take advantage of the people. I don’t do those anymore, too many bad experiences.
