How do you execute I-9 documents?

I have been contacted by an individual who wants to list me as an I-9 Notary. I have checked with the Secretary of State and they said absolutely do not notarize these documents. I am not sue then what my role would be with these documents.It sounds like it could be more trouble than it is worth. I am in the state of Oregon,Not sure if rules are different elsewhere.Advice is welcome!

Does anyone complete I-9 Form acknowledgments? (not notarized, but she complete and verify) If so, how much do you charge?

I-9 Signing

I did my first I-9 signing this week. The signer called me directly, saying he needed me to verify his ID for his company. Then his company emailed me asking for a statement saying that I had done that. There was no application to complete, as he had already done it electronically with the company. I know that normally I’d be asked to complete Section 2 of the form. Just wondering what the normal fee would be for that.
