That’s the way it is when you work directly with title. I get paid right after closing. My fee is already covered in the settlement statement so no need to wait.

I am still waiting on Prime Notary to pay me. It has been over 60 Days!!!
I believe that we need to post right here in this forum all of the signing agencies that are slow to pay or do not pay. If we are aware before we accept an assignment, then we can not accept their work and tell them why we are turning them down when they contact us. If it becomes hard for them to get notaries, this should force their hands to pay the notaries in a timely manner. Personally, I would rather know if a company is a slow pay or no pay at the time they contact me for a signing. How do you all feel about this suggestion?
