What is scary is ALEXA or Google Devices, creeping into almost everyone’s home listening to your most intimate and private conversations to be sold to data brokers. Even the phone is constantly listening and adjusting the placement of advertisements, the next time I open a webpage, depending on what was spoken.
ZERO Privacy is being accepted by HUMANS in exchange for some lazy , " from the couch" turn off the light bulb… Etc commands .
This is just a social commentary, not a response to any particular person.
There are several definitions for the word scary…even the elitist listening to our conversations don’t scare me…since I have Nothing to hide. For the record, I do not use those devices anyhow. Also, what does that have to do with my comment or this post. Lol!
I had similar situation and I called the Sheriff’s office and an officer came to my home to see me. He told me that they NEVER make phone calls as they know where we live and they directly come to our home and knock the door. Please consider any phone calls from Sheriff’s office is a SCAM !!
I don’t know about the calls but in your picture you are a beautiful woman. It just caught my eye and I say that out if just being a good person no malice intended.
there are sooooooo many scams going, it’s impossible to keep up with any of them, much less all of them! There are a couple of youtube channels, (https://youtu.be/9lLTFVfRJvM), that show how some of these scams are being perpetrated. please check some of them out, and then educate your friends and family, especially your senior family members.
Thank you for sharing. I got a few calls asking me if I wanted to expedite my stimulus check for a small fee. I know it was a scam. It is sad that we have so much of our information accessible for scammers. I am asking all my friends and colleagues to contact local elected officials and introduce stiffer penalties.
Thank you for sharing. I am out from m any social channels, but see my phone starts to get a lot of unwanted texts and am worried about all this exposures. Should try a do not text list if such exists.
