👎 WARNING: Prestige Notaries-45-60 day delayed payments/Non-Payments - Jennifer Garland 850-266-1501 jennifer@prestige.com

Good for you Alice - glad you got paid.

I received a call from this company concerning a purchase that was completed on the 9th of this month. The rep asked me if I had done purchases before and I stated several, she then proceeds to say that well the purchase order you did only had 22 pages and proceeded to say that I should have caught that it should have been more pages. (she has an additional 78 that needs to be signed. I asked if there were extra pages uploaded when this signing took place. She said no, I said excuse me, but I took the docs that were uploaded to the platform the same docs that you all sent an email stating that they were all uploaded and ready to go. I stated that it sounded to me that someone in your office made a mistake. She mentions that we All made a mistake, excuse me how are you trying to include me in a mistake where your office messed up. She then starts trying to talk over me and mentioned that she could place another $30 on the signing as I needed to go back. I told her that it was not my fault and I could not return to the signers home 40 min away for just $30, she then attempts to say well $50; I informed her that gas prices are high and if there needs to be another signing then they would need to pay me another fee to return. She then states that well we are not going to pay you, I told her then I would file papers to make sure that they did. The rep then attempts to threaten me about not getting more signings from them. This company tried to blame their mistake on me and wanted me to eat that, however I was not. Has anyone else had issues with this company? What are your thoughts on this.

I have done an assignment over 60 days ago and tried calling there phone number and message box is full. I also emailed them and received a reply from JENNIFER GARLAND (fka Glover) President & CEO, Prestige Notaries / Notary Dash, but still no payment. They do not reply to any of my emails anymore.

I will never work for them again. Will stay away!!!

any updates? I can’t even get them to respond to me.

(CA) After a lot of “where the heck is my fee payment?” correspondence, Prestige finally paid me last week (May 10, 2022) for a job I did on October 3, 2021! No note or comment of any kind; just an ACH credit to my bank account. The next day, they sent me an order which I promptly turned down by saying it took them 6 months to pay me last time, the fee on this one wasn’t enough, and, to call me if they wanted to discuss.
------------------------------------- nuthin’. What a surprise!

Jennifer Garland. PTHUH! (say it out loud)

Does that answer your question?

You are such a nice notary to let them get away without charging interest!

Yeah, well, I’m not that nice.

well it’s still happening

Not paying their notaries again.

I had a signing in June 2023. I have contacted their accounting department three times and the owner twice. No response. Will not be accepting signing from them in the future, I checked with title and they had been paid for the signing. No reason not to pay me. Weird, as I have done business with them for three years. Very disappointing
Accept signings at your own risk. I’m definitely staying away.

From what I’ve read it’s 45-60 days, so you are a bit premature in expecting payment
 IF any is forthcoming

This is Prestige Notaries’ payment policy:

“We process invoices within 30 days and pay the following Friday via eCheck. Which means you’ll receive payment between 31 and 37 days from the date we receive your invoice at [accounting@prestigenotaries.com]”

They’re clearly not abiding by that now because I’ve sent several emails for orders processed in May and beginning of June and have yet to receive a single response. They would usually pay me on time or at least acknowledge my emails and give an ETA if they’re running behind on payment in the past. Aprille Leaks (VP of Operations) is the person that would usually reply to my accounting emails, but I’ve tried calling her and her voicemail box is full.

There is a group on FB called Deadbeat Signing Companies 2.0. They are on the list of one of those companies to avoid. Utterly ridiculous that they are taking advantage of notaries.

Sadly, I did not research this “company” until after I wasn’t getting paid per our contract which clearly states " **You will receive payment by the Friday following the 30th day from the date in the Notaries In Action order on NotaryDash." It is now 47 days since the date of completion and still no payment. Sent numerous emails that were never answered, and after several calls and various excuses I finally just referred the case to legal for collection.
I was advised that “Notaries in Action” is not even a legally registered company or DBA and is run by Jennifer Garland (aka Jennifer Glover) who also is the governing agent for Prestige Notaries registered in the State of Washington UBI Number:604 592 749 4401 S 4TH AVE, EVERETT, WA, 98203-2522, UNITED STATES and Notary Dash UBI Number: 604 651 057 4401 S 4TH AVE, EVERETT, WA, 98203-2522, UNITED STATES as well as a few other non-notary related businesses.
Phone numbers include: (206) 774-0738, (425) 818-5863, (425) 512-8645, (850) 266-1501, (425) 314-6993
Emails include: jglover @ notarydash .com , notaryjcg @ gmail .com , jennifer @ prestigenotaries .com , orders @ nia-inc .com

not sure about others but my contract clearly states “You will receive payment by the Friday following the 30th day from the date in the Notaries In Action order on NotaryDash.”

“It is now 47 days since the date of completion and still no payment. Sent numerous emails that were never answered, and after several calls and various excuses I finally just referred the case to legal for collection.”

And there you have it. YOU may care what the contract states, but many companies don’t give two flips about the contract terms they make YOU agree to and sign.

Sorry you are going through this.

Hi Linda! Thanks for your reply. It is a learning lesson to vet companies BEFORE you agree to take notary assignments. All I had to do was type notaries in action in Google and look at the very first heading “WARNING Notaries in Action”, but because we are notaries and we swear an oath to act honorable and faithfully I just assumed that a Notary and self-proclaimed paralegal would do the same and act with integrity.

people have been saying this for 5 years
