SnapDocs Signing Service

@linnymac1 :tada: Success! :tada:

That’s a GREAT technique :rose: for ensuring your survival as a business owner! I admire your tenacity for adhering to the Fees you’ve established. :white_check_mark:

Another low ball from C to C through snapdocs. $50 sellers only in the city I live but then tomorrow the docs had to be delivered to an attorney in a city about 25 miles away. 60 miles roundtrip, sign and deliver the docs for $50? No, thanks. I have done other sellers only here for $75 that didn’t require going to another city to hand deliver docs.

I am a newb who just got NSA cert in May 2025. I signed up with Snapdocs immediately. I did receive a few notifications via text for the first week. I haven’t since then. Is there any other way to see notifications or assignments posted on/from Snapdocs other than waiting via SMS/text? thanks

can you share a few good signing services to join? thanks

Not that I know of. It’s the slowest market I’ve seen in over 3 decades.

gotcha, thanks for your feedback. Also, what does notary cafe pro membership offers besides this forum and being visible to the public?

Has anyone figure out where I can sign up for Solidifi? thanks

Email them. I got a reply but I don’t understand it either.

ā€œSome of the Fees that are proffered in recent months don’t even reimburse the Professional Signing Agent [PSA] for their actual out-of-pocket expenses.ā€ Couldn’t have stated it any better!

Even as a new notary public, I have seen many jobs with below average offers accepted (in an hour or less). This is beyond me. Why would anyone work for much less than average? I would rather flip burgers at In-n-Out for $22/hour like a robot.

Do a search here - I think there’s another very current thread about this issue and the answer was there.

Hello Everyone! I have been a Notary since August 20, 1976, and a MNSA since April 15, 1988. During that time, I was also a Broker/REALTOR, and due to a disastrous divorce, I quit the REALTOR gig in Nov/2005. On 1/1/2006, I started being a full-time MNSA in Cumberland County, NC, and my area of operation is composed of 15 counties-which some of you would never even think about riding that far. I do not appear on this forum that often, b/c each time I do, I read the same comments I read 5, 10, 15, 20+ years ago! Okay, so what words of wisdom may I impart to novice and veteran Notaries about SnapDocs, and any other company just like SnapDocs? Allow me to state that so far, since 4/15/1988, I have closed(my real estate sales as a realtor) and signed over 15,000 real estate closings and signings. I have direct contact with only five and four-star Signing companies, Title companies, Lenders, and lawyers. I do not sign with three-star or less signing companies. Please go to Notaryrotary.com to find out which companies have the higher ratings. Before COVID-19, and before SnapDocs, I was earning $90.00 to $250.00 for every day signing appointments. At that time, I posted that I would do signings after 10:00 PM, and b/c of that posting, I would often be called and earn as much as $1,800.00 to travel 150 to 275 miles to sign. During Covid-19, I was one of the VERY FEW notaries working in eastern NC, and I was averaging $223.75 for each everyday signing.
When SnapDocs came online, I realized ā€œnormalā€ signing fees would decrease, and I would have to resort to the same Marketing gambit I used to enter the Signing game. This marketing technique I am using is bringing me close to the old percentage of the overall market I once enjoyed. All of you can and should be using what I use. What is this? It’s common-sense Marketing, it involves common-sense thinking about how to procure faithful customers(do you even know who are customers are)? It requires making a ton of phone calls and sending a ton of texts. It involves schmoozing with the head girl at Title companies, legal firms, lenders, and signing companies. I went to a local real estate closing firm and asked them if they would like me to start signing regular real estate closings, which would be changed to Mobile Notary Signing Agent signings, and was told, ā€œWhy would we want to start paying youā€? I replied, " b/c I am willing to stay in your office from 4:30 PM to Midnight to close those loans that you don’t have time to close, and you’re making more money while you’re asleep"! This didn’t happen right away, and about 4 months later, I was called to spend all night at a legal office! Think, and don’t be lazy, you have a computer and cell phone, you may work from any home, restaurant, or car, and do it effectively. You are your own business manager, to be successful you have to work smater than your competition.

That all is so situational. It will depend on many factors including how many notaries are in your area and where you fall in line in the text chain. Companies can choose to stagger the text blast so that not everyone gets it at one time. For me 3 years ago, i had my first assignment in 24 hours. It was a remote location that most dont travel to.
