I’m Bernard Howard. I’m a notary at large in the State of Alabama. My professional experience was amassed with various positions within the Hospitality Industry. I spent 9 years with McDonald’s, arising to the position of Restaurant Manager and graduating from the training program of Hamburger University.
Following my tenure with McDonald’s, I was named General Manager of a lodging chain called Red Roof Inns. In the position of solo General Manager, my responsibilities included Human Resource Generalist, Customer Service Management, Sales, and Operations management. I served in that capacity for five years. Since 2001, I’ve served in various Managerial roles with Sheraton Hotels under the Starwood and ultimately, Marriott brands. My tenure with Sheraton came to an end in 2020 due to Covid at which point, I was certified with NNA and LSS as a Loan Signing Agent.
In addition to my Hospitality experience, I hold an MBA from Colorado Tech and a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama. In a part-time capacity, I worked with a local Mortgage originating company called Alabama Financial Potential as a loan officer and I received my Property and Casualty Insurance license with the State of Alabama.
