Hello fellow NSA’s! I’m happy to be part of this network and have already learned some interesting information just by browsing the forums. I have a 20 year prior background in mortgage banking and 12+ year background in financial crisis housing/credit counseling. Over the years, I’ve thought about becoming an NSA and finally took the leap! It has taken time to pull everything together. I’m NNA certified, have my insurances/bond in place & also have my Online Notary Commission. Although, I have been hesitant to do the RON work due to internet drops during the day. I’m still busy signing up with SS’s, just 7 so far but determined to work quickly towards the ‘100’ that most say are necessary. I had to put my business on hold for awhile to monitor my virtually schooled grandson. (I’m sure many may be dealing with this challenge as well) I’ve only had one GNW but no NSA jobs yet. I’m hopeful that I may be busy with jobs in the next month!
