Interesting, had an order come through Signature Closures for AMROCK/Rocket Mortgage.
The location is in a county that doesn’t seem to have any mobile notaries. So perhaps that is why they used a different platform.
Also was told signature closers has a default on their AI generated confirmations that always say scan required, but this coordinator was nice enough to tell me not required.
I also noticed Rocket Mortgage does not want copies of ID taken at the table. The package includes an ID verification affidavit for the notary.
Yay I was getting concerned about the day, glad that came through.
If they accept my counteroffer, I’ll do the work. Sometimes they do. I will go places most notaries just won’t go to. For a price. Their directions are very clear, and I do like that.
I’ve noticed the scan required thing is an auto message for a lot of the hiring parties. I recommend notaries really pay attention to the instructions for each signing.
@keaton4notary Concur percent. My direct experience mirrors yours that they “don’t require a scan” for Refinance or Home Equity Line of Credit [HELOC] packages.
It depends on who the client/lender is for whom AMROCK is operating in coordination with them as the title company. I’ve had a few jobs with them where a scan back is required. However, in those instances it is a scan and drop. You are not waiting for approval or a shipping label after scans are “approved” before shipping.
