Hello everyone, I have been on the forum for a short time. I read more than respond, however today I received text from www.closewise.com. Looked them up online, seems like they are looking for notaries to sign up. Never completed a signing for them so I wanted to see if anyone has. You guys have provided good feedback on others I didn’t see one for this. Any feedback shared is welcomed and I do realize it’s up to me ultimately.
I have not… did you use the search on here at the top of the page sorta invisible?
Hello
I did but didn’t find anything. I will check BBB next; I don’t trust links at all.
I haven’t found anything in all of the facebook pages and this forum on closewise. That being said, I have invested in a fair amount of notary finding services, and I don’t know that any of them have truly paid off. It’s not awfully expensive, but depending on how many sites you have paid to get listed, etc., it might start getting cost prohibitive. That being said, I just went to their website, and it says that there is something wrong with the website (notarynearme.com)
@renee2 THANK YOU!
Appreciate you taking the time to Research this business entity & to SHARE it with all of us!
Appreciate your efforts as a fellow business owner to invest in the Notary Cafe Community!
I am a new notary, and I have received emails from Closewise for FREE services. If anyone has ever worked with this company please chime in… Maybe they are new like me, and praying for an opportunity.
I have worked with them before. To my understanding it serves as a platform for signing service companies and tracking capabilities for invoices. The one signing I did went smooth.
I am signed up with them. I have completed 1 signing with them. Everything went smoothly. They initiated payment on October 24th (as direct deposit) and the system said I should see the money in 5-7 business days. I can keep you posted when I receive the money. The pay seemed fair and it was for a company called “Kingdom Mobile Notary”. I use Notary Assist to keep track of invoicing and payments. You can also use CloseWise for this. I am currently using both to compare to see which I like better. I have also been offered a few other jobs through CloseWise, but was unable to provide services at the time requested. Hopefully this helps.
It is my understanding that they are newer but the one company I worked for said they prefer this platform. I am still giving it time but so far so good.
Thank you so much for your feedback!
Thank you for sharing your experience!
Just curious and since you have experience working with closewise … Is your subscription a free one or do you have a paid subscription?
Also, what was the scope of the signing you had through them? Was it a typical refi without scans and what was the fee?
Thanks in advance!
I am trying the $10- Pro + NotaryNearme.com. If I get a decent amount of singings I may keep it, but like anything I know it takes time.
The signing I did was for an asbestos case. Lots of signatures/stamps. They paid $125 but I decided to take it to get my name out there and get more work as I have been struggling trying to get started. It was scan backs with possible shipping of original papers, however they didn’t need the originals. Which I will shred after a certain length of time.
If you have experience sign up with signature closers and signature Xcel both great companies.
They push the paid upgrade listing. But I don’t pay for listings.
I am signed up with both but never receive any signing offers from them. How do you get started with that?
Have you worked with Closewise and been paid?
Also, with Closewise, since you have to create an account to accept or decline the services I started reading the terms and they are quite concerning to me.
Update. I received my direct deposit this morning which was initiated on the 24th. They said moving forward any direct deposits will de deposited 3-5 businesses days after initiated. First time is 5-7 days. I completed another signing for a different company a couple nights ago and they mentioned they use paper checks and are working on the direct deposit for the future. So far so good.
I signed up but so far all I have received are urgings to pay for an upgraded account . Not impressed with them so far.
