Anyone done business with LSPN PRO?

Hello everyone. I was contact by email by this company called LSPN PRO who is an attorney network that supports financial advisors. I cant tell if this is a legit company and was hoping someone on here has experience with them and can vouch they are legit. Here is what they wrote me:

We would like to contract you to service this client and also would like to ask you to join our Notary Network so that we can use you for future notary signings. Here is how the Notary Network works (Please read carefully before accepting this client):

We will:

  • Email you the required signature pages that you will print and bring with you. The pages that require signatures tend to be between 8-15 pages with 4-8 pages requiring notarization. The client will have the entire document at their location so that you can verify what they are signing.
  • Pay you $100 for the completion of the project.
    • Upon receipt of your email, we will pay via GigWage (within 1-2 days).
    • You must accept payment via GigWage and direct deposit to your account.
    • We require that you send us an invoice for your services.

You will:

  • Print the signature pages.
  • Travel to the client’s location (or mutually agreeable location).
  • Verify the identification of the signers and their witnesses.
  • Have the client sign all the respective pages and notarize where necessary.
  • Scan or take pictures of (with your smart phone) of all the signed documents, leaving the originals with the client.
  • Email the scanned/photographed pages and your invoice (for the agreed to compensation) for the project.

We do not:

  • Pay for travel services, if the job is too far simply decline the project.
  • Pay appointments that you missed.
  • Require you to obtain and/or ship documents back to us.
  • Make payment until we receive an invoice and the scans of notarized pages.

If you agree to these terms, respond to this email, providing your full contact information:

  • Full Name:
  • Email:
  • Phone Number:
  • Cities/Counties of operation:

If been burned by supposed attorneys office before so now I’m very cautious, especially when it comes to receiving payments through a platform I’m not familiar with .

Scam scam! Block!!!

Unfortunately some notaries will fall for this and surely will have their bank accounts cleaned out!

Maybe not a scam

Estate Planning services…if it were me I’d contact them by phone to confirm

I used to do these with a rep out of GA for his company - he’d come and meet w/ folks at the table and I’d be there to notarize. Got paid well and timely for these - (as an aside, got more than $100).

I also saw this on YouTube so that’s what has me so conflicted. I just don’t care for the scanning of signed docs at the table and emailing them or having to use Gigwage to get paid.

Sorry, my guard is way up when I get anything via email! It’s like sender auto-guilty of a scam until further investigation! :grimacing:

LOL I don’t blame you. These days we have to be vigilant

Exactly. If they really wanted to they could have contacted me by phone which is the norm. An email with all those details just seems fishy to me.

Don/t know anything about this company, but agree with Linda that the fee seems to be low.
