~ How did you sign up for your business? Sole Proprietorship or LLC? Which one do you think is best when it comes to working fo myself?
I have always been a sole proprietor of my notary/NSA business. It is prudent to seek the expert advice of a professional tax advisor as everyone’s business is different. There are costs associated with filing an LLC and annual filings and reporting requirements.
Best wishes!
I agree with Prosigner on being a sole proprietor. Unless you have other business dealing, that do not apply to the notary, that is when you may consider becoming an LLC. Mine is established that way, but I do ther things as well as my wife. Makes more sense for us to be an LLC.
Good Luck!
Thank you all for the feed back. Best Regards!
