Hi everyone, I was curious if anyone knows if you can be a notary in at least 2 different states? Currently I’m an active notary in California but we are moving to Nevada soon. When we move we will be very close to the state line still so I was curious if I would be able to get my commission in Nevada and still keep the one in California? TIA
According to the CA SOS website, you have to be a legal resident of California.

Some states do allow you to hold a commission as a non-resident IF you maintain a business in the state - I don’t see that in there for CA.
