I’ve recently starting using Dropbox to acquire copies of signer IDs before the appointment.
In my first month alone, I ran into several situations when the signers either 1) didn’t have copies ready or 2) I arrived and they handed me a copy that was not acceptable (too blurry, too dark, so on).
Now, when I call to confirm, I tell them that I’m going to send them an email with a link to Dropbox for them to securely upload their copies ASAP. This way, I can ensure that the copies are acceptable and I can just print them with the package before heading to the appointment.
So far, so good!
