Heads up that Colorado ID’s have had no signatures required on them since 2016. CO ID cards expire in 10 years so therefore the old signed CO ID’s will expire in 2026.
California law prohibits using Colorado IDs to notarize due to lacking signatures.
@CherylM - As a commissioned in Notary Public/LSA in the state of FL. The existence of individual state statutes can lead to overall confusion for everyone. This highlights the need for a nationwide standardization of notarial acts statures.
Hello. I live in Colorado as well as a notary here and our signatures are indeed on the DLs. They can show up somewhat faint under the picture. My husband and I renewed our licenses in 2017, and I recently renewed in 2022, and it’s definitely there.
