I have compared NotaryAssist and NotaryGadget, both apps don’t offer CRM that you can keep track of the sales activities such as date and time marketing/sales pitch/calls, when to follow up and etc. Can anyone share if you know a cost-effective app that doesn’t break a new notary’s bank?
I just use my own Excel Spreadsheet. It’s been reliable. The biggest thing is remembering to log payments. I have to go back and research once in a while.
@shun Hmmm . . . the ‘standard’ CRM activities/programs are not truly a ‘good fit’ for this business sector when analyzing the methodologies employed for the dissemination of Signing Orders [SOs] to vendors.
In my opinion, you’re maybe trying to do too much with your system. I have no issue with CRM but it’s an awful lot to record, keep track of and analyze for straightforward notary work. I suppose if you’re heavy into GNW, it might be useful, but otherwise, I question whether it’s worth the bother, especially if you ever get real busy.
Actually, I am in search of a CRM that has contact management feature - client details, cold call scheduling, follow up notifications, past call history details and etc. This will help to manage customer relationships. I am exploring making sales calls into healthcare space. It is very critical for me to be able to keep detail recorders who I called and need to follow up, why it didn’t or did work from prior calls and etc.
I’ve used several. Wired is good. There are some Oracle based but I don’t know if they have any out of a box. They like to custom design CRM modules. You’d probably like wired. It lets track appointments and categorize your contacts.
This has been a game changer for me. I used to subscribed to notaryassist, but change to closewise. Manage Your Business With CloseWise Pro Growth - it’s worth a few minuter to research.
