Deceptive Email Marketing

What are your first thoughts if you saw this email?

It’s Monday morning and your scanning you inbox and see the following email from a known notary educational site that you hold a membership with. First thoughts?

Was it intentional that you only posted the address line of the email? The body of it isn’t showing up

@acenotarysvcs I received it as well and . . .

My initial thought was that their website had been hacked & they were warning us of that violation.

Upon further perusal of the email, the sense of alarm bells & whistles turned off when their note was simply a Reminder for upcoming training session . . .

With my commission expiring on the 28th I am being hammered by emails offering renewal services bond training plus the if you don’t do this now you’ll lose business warnings.

I already renewed everything and just keep ignoring these offers.

@cNsa5 thank you for your response. Quick question - is the meme a poke at me or the place sending the email ??

@acenotarysvcs The meme is my reaction to the manner in which that email was “presented” . . .

Definitively NOT a poke at anyone . . .
