I have my first scanback request- do you normally only scan back critical docs or is it the entire package usually?
Hi Heidi, it all depends. The notary instructions in the assignment typically specify which documents require scanback. Sometimes in the loan package you’ll even see a page that says ALL PAGES PRIOR TO THIS PAGE MUST BE SCANNED BACK, or words to that effect. (An important reminder to keep the pages in stacking order.) But if it is not clear in the notary instructions which documents to scanback, contact your hiring company for instruction. Otherwise, you could err on the side of caution and scan the entire loan package. Cheers! ~Carmen
