Hello all!
I began working for a large company that uses DocuSign for RON signings back in late September. After navigating through the corporate process I was finally able to get set up through DocuSign to set up my RON, however, in early December was advised that DocuSign cannot set up new notaries in the RON system due to a change in Virginia requirements for how they define a properly applied digital signature and the DocuSign Notary does not currently support this requirement for either IdenTrust or DocuSign digital certificates.
Strange because the existing notaries we have are not affected.
At this point I am still unable to continue the process and it’s quite frustrating.
Anyone else heard anything about or have experience with this change to RON digital certificate requirements?
