Here in Washington, we are Only allowed to charge $10 per signature plus mileage. I wasn’t aware that you can also charge $100 per hour as I don’t think that’s legal under the statute for gnw. Might be different in California

Definitely check state guidelines, we can only charge $5 per signature in my state but travel is not included and as long as all fees are agree beforehand our service fee (hourly or mine is per appt) are not limited. So printing and document preparation, mileage, and time.

Right. In Washington state, notaries cannot charge $100/hr (or $x/hourly) for their time but they CAN charge a travel fee… see WAC 308-30-220:
